That means Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and the Orange Islands. Pikachu, being Ash's iconic partner, will follow him around 24/7 even if you have another Pokemon set to the first slot.

On top of that, you can battle Ash's various traveling companions and rivals, and since so many regions are available, Fly is no longer in the game. Instead, you will need to go to a Pokemon Center to get warped to another Pokemon center. There are over 100 TMs and abilities and moves up to generation 8 are all available.

Overall, Pokemon Fire Ash pays homage to its parent series and adds plenty of its own to give it its own unique identity. Give it a shot if you've been getting a little tired of the Pokemon formula.
