Phantasy Star Online 2 Review

Japan has had some hidden gems that never made its way over to the states. One of them is the Phantasy Star series, where despite some decently strong sales, plenty of entries haven't been localized and the western playerbase has had to create english patches themselves. Thankfully, one of the best MMOs over there have finally come west - Phantasy Star Online 2.
To install Phantasy Star Online 2, make sure you have Steam installed. Go to this link to install the game.
The best part about this game is the variety of playstyles it gives with each class. For example, my personal favorite, the bouncer, operates almost solely aerially, relying on cooldowns and midair dashes to be hyper mobile and tear enemies apart from above. The Bracer class instead weaves ranges, adapting to the situation flawlessly from both close and long range. There are twelve different classes that you can switch to whenever you want, and there's even a subclass system where you can level two classes together that give each other bonuses.
The combat system is fully real-time, with auto attacks and dodges, along with fighting game mechanics such as dodge cancels. That's not it, though. This game also has an evolving story, which is still being updated to this day and will get a large expansion very soon. The only real downside to this game is the excessive amount of sidequests that barrage you, and the fact that not doing them will actively harm you in the long run.
If you're a fan of action MMORPGs, you should 100% download Phantasy Star Online 2.
