Purity and Decay 1.0

Purity and Decay is a black and white noir style mystery crime game where you play as private investigator Myeengun Hill, set in the year 2262 where social divisions and sectors separate the poor ad the junkies from the upper class.

Soon the mystery comes in when an attractive young woman offers you a murder case, normally the type of job you try to avoid due to the amount of paper work and mess it can cause, but when offered 1000 credits in payment it's to good an offer to turn down and soon you are trying to find the murderer of the young lady's sister and discover how a woman from high society ended up living in the junky sector.

Purity and Decay has a lot of multiple choice questions meaning that although it is a fairly standard visual novel it also involves the player more than most. 

The drawings are very cool in all their black and white glory especially the character animations which conjure up images of old detective movies, some of the dialogue can be a little slow moving though but the armchair sleuths among you will surely have a great time trying to get to the bottom of this case whilst learning about all the different characters involved in the game.

There is also a very fitting soundtrack which works perfectly with the games film noir style.
