Part of the Sonic franchise and originally released as a platform game, Sonic Heroes was later released for Microsoft Windows to be played on the PC with sharper and more vibrant graphics. In this free trial of the game, you get to try out this release of the Sonic series and see if it is for you. Whether a Sonic fan or simply a gamer, you will enjoy this fun and challenging game as you race through all of the levels in teams to defeat all of the enemies.
This Sonic game is a bit different than others that are a part of the franchise. This is because instead of navigating through the levels with just one character at a time, you navigate through the levels in teams of three while you race through all of the levels to defeat all of the enemies. The teams all have their own levels to complete and stories behind them. These teams are Team Rose, Team Sonic, and Team Dark - all of which represent all of the different difficulties in the game ranging from easy, medium, and hard.
Each team also contains three character types: Speed, Power, and Flight, which the player game toggle between at any point while playing the game to suit their personal playing style, or to make certain sections of each level easier to pass through. You'll want to switch between these three types of characters at different points of the levels, or in different levels depending on the types of enemies and obstacles that will be presented to you. This is why it is a good thing you are able to switch between these characters at any time. Each time you switch, you play a different character on the team and possesses the skill that you have chosen.
All in all, Sonic Heroes is a fun, classic game with very fun gameplay that can be played by all ages.
