Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. Some used the medium to tell incredible stories. One of these series was Reisen. Let's look at one of the entries: SPQR Ep. 11.
To play SPQR Ep. 11, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
The gameplay is rather simple. It's very straightforward and is reminiscent of pretty much every single point and click adventure game ever made. You click to move around, click on items to interact with them, and use them to eventually progress. Gameplay wise, there is nothing special.
The story is quite unique. The battle and war against Octavius has effectively been lost by now, but as human nature dictates, they pretty much try to pretend nothing's wrong in this episode...but Antonius still sends Jitter away on a boat against her will. This is the first time Jitter really comes into her own as she is finally separated from historical figures.
All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then SPQR Ep. 11 is very worthy of your time. You won't regret your choice if you give this game a shot.
