XOXO Droplets 1.0

XOXO Droplets is a visual novel where you play as a girl starting at a new boarding school, but things are not all going to be smooth sailing as your parents have only said you can stay at the school if you manage not to alienate all the people around you, as you have done at all of your previous schools.

Something that is a bit unusual about the game is the developers have designed the protagonist and all of the main love interests to not be particularly nice people, or to use the developers own words “A big ‘ol jerk squad” which is definitely different but also makes it hard to really feel anything for these characters when the lines of dialogue are so obnoxious.

XOXO Droplets is well drawn and the character models look great but it’s also quite slow moving in its narrative and can at times feel like there is no real direction in the story however the player does get more involved later in the game when you have to make choices towards which love interest that you like the most. There is also a lot of dialogue here so those of you looking for a lengthy visual novel will not be disappointed.
