Free Opener claims to be able to open over eighty types of files which I cannot argue against as it opened every file type I tried with it which was quite a lot less than eighty but it had no problems opening even some of the rarer file types. It is a great help if you have some odd file formats and are not sure how to open them then it is definitely worth giving Free Opener a try, but other than opening the files there is not much you can do with them past that point with Free Opener however at least once you have opened the file you can always copy and paste it in to another program should you wish to make adjustments or edit the file.

That being said Free Opener doesn’t promise anything more than opening your files so it is doing exactly what it says and also it is completely free as implied by its title no there is no complaining over the price.

If you are looking for a straight forward file opener to help you open those rarer types of files then free opener maybe exactly what you need but if you want something that has the power to open files and allow editing etc then you may prefer to keep searching.
