Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. However, some go a step beyond and try to emulate the story heavy point-and-click games. One of them is Vortex Point. Let's look at Vortex Point 2: Nensha.
To play Vortex Point 2: Nensha, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
This game was released in 2013, and it shows. The game really stretches in trying to emulate higher budget games, and it hurts the overall product. The voice acting is awkward and incredibly low quality, and the animation is very rigid and basic.
However, the story is actually incredibly interesting, despite the writing and the dialogue occasionally being extremely awkward. It starts off with two girls taking photos in a booth, and one of them leaves to wash her hands. Her friend notices that in the photos, a man is strangling her friend. Your player character, a paranormal detective, is called in to solve the case.
Gameplay-wise, it's absolutely nothing special. But it's worth playing through for the story.
All in all, if you're a fan of point and click games, then you're missing out if you don't give this game a shot. Vortex Point 2: Nensha is an incredibly interesting game to play.
