Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. However, some go a step beyond and try to emulate the story-heavy point-and-click games. One of them is Vortex Point. Let's look at Vortex Point 7: Waddington Swamp.
To play Vortex Point 7: Waddington Swamp, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
The presentation is pretty much the same as the last chapter, which...is starting to become a problem in one specific area. The voice acting hasn't improved all series, and as this series creeps closer and closer to the modern time, it gets more distracting. The delivery actually hasn't improved that much either, with the series regulars still being oddly stilted. Newcomers, however, deliver their lines much better, but the audio balancing means you can't hear them.
Story-wise, however, it's still the same quality as ever. It has an interesting premise and follows through on it, but the dialogue is still a little bit stilted.
All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then you're missing out if you don't give this game a shot. Vortex Point 7: Waddington Swamp is pretty much the same quality as the last entry.
